Bass Drum Calisthenics: Drumset Groove and Independence Exercises

This is an amazing, and extensive, set of exercises, grooves, and fills. It really covers a lot more than just bass drum, since its focus is on exercises for developing independence and timing. Each exercise has a bunch of variations which expand on the basic concept being addressed, so there are a lot of options for finding the right sequence for your music. The whimsical titles are an added bonus. Highly recommended.

Neal"Bam" Feldman did a great job in putting together a drum exercise book that not only helps me with stamina, but inspires my brain with ideas of my own. I incurage the purchase of his book "Stick Twisters as well. Keep up the good work Neal!

An excellent book for building up bass drum play.Many exercises that assist with groove independence and tom fills around the kit.Great shifting bass drum patterns allow the player to work with any number of different beats.Highly recommend for use with pretty much any genre and level of experience.
