My daughter loves when her dad plays guitar for her. We want her to start playing soon and I feel like this is a fun “first” guitar. It’s a great size! I also LOVE that it has strings for her to pretend strum. So many other toy guitars don’t have strings to play with. These are also sturdy and won’t snap or break like normal guitar strings. Also, it is not obnoxiously loud even on its loud setting. You can also change the sound from electric guitar to acoustic with the press of a button. Overall it’s really cute. Happy we bought it.

Amazing realistic looking guitar which by its colour scheme alone makes it special. Surprisingly sturdy and designed thoughtfully to withstand the rigours of a youngsters full on playing, and dropping!The musical notes are pleasant and not distorted , with a chord sheet supplied, and the wa-wa note bending effect is amazing when the yellow arm is pulled up!Ref other reviewers comments about the strings not working , they don’t work like taut tensioned standard guitar strings. They’re very loosely tensioned so as to activate the selected note when pushed down vertically enough towards the players feet and not plucked against the guitar , if that makes sense ? These almost elastic feeling strings are attached to a mechanised switch that activates the electronic string sound, but only when they are depressed enough in a downwards direction. Designed so cleverly as to not hurt the child’s fingers when the ‘strings’ are depressed.The question of the volume being faint is because there are TWO switched volume settings. Turning the guitar ON switch to ON activates the first volume setting , turning it once more to the right activates the second slightly higher volume setting. It’s not room filling but perfectly adequate for little ears and not a pain for adults ears!A thoroughly well thought out electronic music machine with realistic guitar sounds switchable between acoustic and electric guitar sounds ! It’s cool , it’s so worth the money, and fun for everyone to try😀
