Leider ist die Bedienungsanleitung grottenschlecht und nicht zu gebrauchen. Dadurch habe ich keine Kontrolle über die Kapazität der Batterie.

I bought this to monitor my boats leisure battery set up and consumption as i have installed a new fridge and want to keep an eye on the battery drain when the engines are not on. I have 4x120AH batteries linked so the output is 24V.Cables:The supplied cables are so short just put them in the bin - To the supplier = Please give at the very lease 0.5m length cables.I dug out some thin multi core cable to use as a replacement. You will need very thin 4 core cable.Physical Installation:The physical installation is very simple. Just make sure your put the shunt on the negative side between the negative battery side and the negative busbar. I located mine just after the isolator switch and before the busbar so it would only be on when the electrics were turned 'on'.Instructions:I find it is always a gamble when buying a Chinese electronic product from Amazon due to the set up instructions being hard to work out. Most often someone has worked it out and with a bit of research, often in these reviews or on YouTube it is possible to find some simple instructions that work. I haven't been able to for this product thus far.Once wired in it reads the voltage and amp draw ok. The concern I have is that I wasn't able to set it up with the battery capacity so I don't think the battery percentage indicator can be correct. I don't think it analysis this on its own. If anyone is reading this and has worked it out I would appreciate it if you could comment back!A good point is that you can turn off the display, so its not blinding at night :)I have only given this product 3 stars as the cables could be longer and I am not convinced that the product automatically sets up to the battery bank AH capacity and I don't seem able to set this up myself. IF I do I will update my rating.
