I'm new to GoPro but wanted a second battery and an external charger, and this fits the bill perfectly. Can't comment on battery life as I'm not sure yet how long GoPro batteries usually last. The only thing I've found is that the battery display does NOT turn green as shown in the pictures. I contacted the seller and they said leave it plugged in longer and it should. It didn't..! Left it overnight and although the GoPro showed a full battery, the charger display remained white, but full. Overall, at this price, you can't go wrong.
