I have an old, custom-modified Olympus E-PL6 camera that I did not use for a few years. During those years, we moved several times and the genuine spare BLS-5 batteries and charger were lost or discarded. I recently took the camera out of mothballs, but had no way to charge its remaining battery. Genuine Olympus BLS-5 batteries and charger are way too expensive to justify their purchase, so I went with these third-party items.In the past I have had in total three or four third-party camera batteries (for Nikon and Sony cameras) swelling up and/or refusing to recharge after a time, so I don't know yet how these BLS-5 will fare long-term. So far they seem to work fine, and I have had one in the camera for a few weeks of occasional camera use, where it still displays 100% charge.The charger does switch off once the batteries are charged, and in this respect seems to be better than bottom-of-the-line China-made chargers. The lone genuine BLS-5 still in my possession recharges without complaints in this third-party charger.I have no way to test whether the genuine Olympus charger recognizes these third-party batteries.

Die Baxxtar BLS-5 Akkus passen gut und zeigen auch nach zwölf Monaten zuverlässige Leistung ohne Auffälligkeiten. Auch mit Baxxtar-Akkus für andere Kameramodelle habe ich bereits gute Erfahrungen gemacht. Das mitgelieferte Doppel-Ladegerät verfügt über USB-C- und Micro-USB-Anschluss, und ist damit eine flexible Lösung, die den Alltag erleichtert.
