Koelprestaties van koellichamen konden te vaak niet overtuigen - uiteindelijk ook niet die van de passieve Be Quiet!. Experimenten in een HP Envy & Slim Desktop PC's - compacte(re) behuizing met helaas matige ventilatie - leken daarom zinvol. De beste oplossing voor het koelen tot lage temperaturen (gemiddeld 34C in iddle) van een SSD NVMe M.2 1TB met OS (o.a. Samsung 990 & 980 Pro, WD Black SN850X, WD SN Blue SN580) bleek een actieve variant te zijn, met de volgende (additieve) onderdelen:1) JEYI Cold Series M.2 SSD Heatsink of vergelijkbaar2) eventueel: Gelid Solutions GP-Extreme heat sink compound Thermische pads 12 W/m·K3) Noctua NF-A4x10 FLX ventilator4) losbare kabelbinders (bijv. Meccion) om de ventilator (flexibel) op de koeler te bevestigen.De schoonheid van koelers als die van Be Quiet! MC1 Pro (41 graden in iddle), ACIDALIE M.2 2280 SSD Heatsink, Icy Box & Graugear (beide actief/luidruchtig) enz. blijkt niet op te wegen tegen de koelprestatie van de beschreven actieve stille(!) Patchwork-variant.

Het product wordt aangeboden als heatsink voor PS5, maar past niet. De heatsink is ca. 4-5mm te hoog, totale hoogte is ca. 16mm met Single sided SSD, terwijl de specificaties 10,2mm aangeeft.

Klein maar werkt goed koeld meer dan 10 graden

This thing is amazing! I just built a new PC, and the secondary nvme drive was behind the motherboard with no heatsink. Did a bit of testing and my temps were around 50C idle and 85C under load (crystal diskmark). After applying this heatsink it dropped nearly 35C, with idle temps of 36C and a max of 51C under load! I was expecting an improvement, but this far exceeded my expectations!Love the build quality too, has a heatsink and everything is made of metal. The install process is super easy, just peal the thermal pad covers, put in your drive, attached four screws and you're good to go! It does cool double sided nvme's and it fit in the back part of my nr200p max without issue. Note, the heatsink is a bit tall, so I don't expect this fitting in a laptop or ps5.

Does it's job and looks great while doing it.

Der be quiet! MC1 Pro M.2 SSD Kühler Kühlkörper erfüllt seinen Zweck hervorragend. Er hält meine M.2 SSD zuverlässig kühl und sorgt für eine optimale Performance. Das Design ist schlank und unauffällig, was besonders gut in meinem System aussieht. Die Montage war einfach und das mitgelieferte Montagematerial war ausreichend. Ich habe seit der Installation keine Überhitzungsprobleme mehr erlebt. Ein solides Produkt, das ich jedem empfehlen kann, der eine effiziente Kühlung für seine M.2 SSD sucht.
