I have wanted a rice cooker for forever and because I mess rice up every time we don’t eat very much rice and especially that we are switching all white food to wholemeal I thought if I can’t cook white rice I will only really mess up brown rice, so a rice cooker it was.😊I searched for ages comparing products and prices and settled with this Bear 6 and I have not been disappointed! What a dream finally eating well cooked tasty rice.I made basmati using the white rice setting it came out perfect. Since then, I have made brown rice several times and not been let down at all. The rice is always cooked evenly and fluffs with a fork with ease.This is a neat looking rice cooker, quite compact as I found a space to store in the cupboard.The instructions are simple, easy to understand (although there is very little instructions needed to use this cooker). It comes with a measuring cup for rice, wide plastic spoon/spatula and the markings in the pot are super clear making it easy to then add the water to the line / depending on rice amount measured.What I have found though is that it takes quite some time to warm up & cook the rice, so I now get the rice in the cooker ahead of making the rest of the dinner. The rice has never stuck to the non-stick pot, and it is really easy to clean.When the rice is cooked it beeps and then turns automatically to Keep Warm – usually by this time I am ready to dish up but if I’m not it’s not a problem bc my rice is still kept warm.We are a family of 3 and this size is more than big enough for us (I have only ever used 2 cups and there is always plenty leftover) but it does cook for more than 2 cups.Also includes steamer basket – this is really small though and I haven’t yet used it and can also be used for porridge, soup etc.Highly recommend - so pleased I settled with this Bear 6 - I Love it..

È proprio carino, si imposta facilmente ed è capiente. Noi facciamo riso (non risotto) per tre e avanza.

He estrenado hoy la arrocera eléctrica y no puedo estar más contenta.Capacidad para 3-4 comensales sin problema.La he utilizado para cocer arroz blanco y ha salido perfecto.Es cierto que las instrucciones generales van bien explicadas, pero los ejemplos de recetas no son comprensibles al 100%.Aún así seguí mi intuición y he puesto en la olla 3 cacitos (del vaso medidor) de arroz bien lavado para quitar el almidón. Le echado después 3 cacitos y medio de agua, una pizca de sal, una pizca de pimienta y 1 c.s. de aceite. He removido bien con el cucharón de la olla, he cerrado la tapa y le he puesto la función de arroz blanco. Al terminar la cocción (unos 15-20 minutos) he abierto la tapa y estaba perfectamente cocido y seco (sin exceso de agua). Además ha evacuado perfectamente el vapor durante la cocción por la rejilla superior.Mi idea era echar 2 cacitos de arroz porque quería hacer arroz a la cubana y luego se complementa con huevo, etc. Pero en el último momento me he arrepentido y he echado un cacito de arroz más, es de ir, 3 cacitos porque somos 3 en casa.Y la verdad que con 2 hubiera estado perfecto para los 3 porque ha sobrado.Estoy encantada con la experiencia y no descarto utilizar la arrocera para hacer otras recetas como sopas o bizcochos.Le pongo un 10 a esta arrocera.Por funcionalidad, facilidad de utilización, capacidad, limpieza y estética.

Très bon produit ! Enfin un riz qui ne brule pas au fond et l’eau ne déborde pas. Capacité très correcte pour 2/3 personnes (je n’ai pas essayé 4). 1 cup de riz blanc pour 1 cup d’eau suffit pour un repas pour 2. Le cuiseur vapeur est cependant très petit je n’en ai pas l’utilité. Léger et compact pour le ranger et design sympa.

Toller Reiskocher, klein und Handlich. Das Gerät ist einfach zu Handhaben und die Verarbeitung ist gut. Die Antihaftbeschichtung ist sehr gut und der Reis klebt nicht am Boden. Nach Gebrauch ist es einfach zu reinigen. Was zu beanstanden ist, dass Handbuch könnte besser sein. Die Angaben wie viel Wasser zu nutzen ist bleibt ein Ratespiel. Wenn man den Dreh mal raus hat ist das Ergebnis echt gut.Ich empfehle zu jeder Tasse Reis, zwei Tassen Wasser zu nehmen.
