Ich habe dieses Set zweimalig bestellt, beim ersten Mal war ein Messer bereits in der Packung kaputt, zurückgeschickt. Beim zweiten Mal ist ein Messer, direkt beim ersten schnitzen kaputtgegangen, absolut nicht empfehlenswert…

This is a starter kit for wood chipping/carving. The blades are sharp and the wood is good quality. Very compact to travel with especially with the roll up case that comes with it . I recommend.

Don’t buy hardened steel from a country at W*A*R!! Seriously it didn’t even cross my mind until this one snapped on alder carving at a 45* across grain not even cutting deep it must have caught the grain turning and just SNAPPED. The smaller of the 2 blades that is pictured, it’s edge is only useable for something like balsa wood or some of what we call gum tree here in puget sound so basically a mini butter knife. Now I get it support Ukraine ok good great awesome but it didn’t even occur to me that steel in that country or any industry in and in support of a military conflict will understandably use the best to keep their people safe and I get it I do but that’s not my fault or my problem. Sharpness is nonexistent very quickly which leads to a ton of down time to sharpen and apparently even at that the steel is beyond brittle. I bought the set and as of now only one knife is kinda on deck for use. I paid less by about 20%-23% for a different knife from a different company and the blade is far thicker the steel is far better holds an edge FAR better and longer and the handle is 50X more comfortable. This is a ploy to get us to spend money on Ukrainian products that are vastly inferior and not for nothing because it shouldn’t matter but they don’t even look very good. I tried to like them I really did but if I can buy a vastly superior in every way for a much much much lower price point then sorry but there’s no reason to pay good money for these knifes. I guess they would be good to teach little little kids to carve a ginger bread house, or like balsa wood, teak or some mahogany but that is beyond soft material. I wouldn’t even try something like Apple or cherry or any spoon materials. Sorry but capitalism is king and this product just is not even worth half of what they are charging. Maybe look for something in the $8-$9 but no higher than $10 range and I think you’ll be pleasantly surprised!

the blades of two of the knives pulled out of the handles immediately in response to test cuts in soft wood. they are not safe to use for woodcarving and I am very disappointed, as I meant them to be a higher quality replacement for the cheap set I've been using.

Die Aufbewahrungstasche riecht extrem nach Chemie, hier denke ich sofort an China Ware..Ob die Messer etwas taugen?Wenn schon die Tasche minderwertig ist, kann es um die Messer nicht besser gestellt sein!
