Excellent microscope. Bought for soldering and watch repairs and for both purposes it is great. Crystal clear images and nice bright lights together with a "quality" feel. Recommended

Super simple operation, amazing results, great price.When we opened this and saw there were two separate usb cords and no power adapter we thought they had skimped. We glanced at the manual which told us to plug the base plate gooseneck lights into the usb-a connector on the back of the monitor and power the monitor with the longer usb-a to usb-c cable. So we only needed one usb power adapter to power everything and it’s kinda standard nowadays that they don’t provide the usb-a power adapter.Assembly is straight forward even without instructions. They provide an Allen wrench and 3 screws to attach the post to the base plate. You only need 2 so that is one extra if you drop one. It comes with a 32GB micro SD card already installed. We set up the microscope with a piece of grass and were amazed by the detail. We cycled through the menus to familiarize ourselves with the options, took a 12M picture, then successfully deleted it. This microscope comes with a remote that does all the functions of the touch buttons on the monitor so you don’t have to disturb the microscope to , for example, save the picture. The only issue we found is our remote has a clear tactile click for left, right and down, but nothing for up which makes us think it won’t last long. We think this is a great tool and very educational even for adults.
