Arrives compressed and feels very thin but foam inner expands when package is opened. Too soon to say how effective it will be.

We have a gaeden at rear of house and in summertime we connect a hose to the tap all the summer. In winter we disconnect it and this absolutely covers the tap and prevents any kind of leak in winter. The material was very thin not anything like the one I had replaced. Very disappointed. I cannot imagine it would prevent a tap from freezing.
