The hamster seemed to like this? It was well packaged and as described. Expanded nicely and added some different texture and appeal to the cage.Not sure if I will buy again though as it is quite expensive.

I got this bag of moss to use in our hamster cage. It worked out really well. It's really easy to use. There's a really good amount in the bag. I'm only using it as an accent texture, so I don't use much at a time. I've been cleaning it out with the rest of the shavings on cleaning day. I like that the moss adds textural stimulation for the hamster, and visual interest for both of us. I recommend this.

I do a lot of miniature building and this stuff is absolutely great for crafting! You get a lot of it at a great price. I'm used to paying the same amount for much less.The moss is naturally colored, so it has brown spots all over. I have not tried it, but I am guessing this would be pretty easy to dye it if you want. I like the color variations, so I left it as it is.If you are looking to purchase this as hamster bedding, it depends on how you use it in your enclosure as to whether or not it is a good amount. If you are only using it in a couple of small places, it's plenty for repeated refills. If this is the only type of bedding you have, it isn't much unless you have a pretty small set up.I am very happy with this product and I will definitely be getting more when I run out!
