We hebben deze in onze kerkgemeenschap vroeger reeds gebruikt en is nog steeds even praktisch. Dit gaat jaren mee. Ideaal om XLR kabels uit te meten en soundtests te doen met het geluid. Ook goed voor andere types kabels te testen. Even bewegen met de kabel om te zien of er geen fout zichtbaar is.

Ricevuto da poco e subito usato con vari tipi di cavi audio e sembra funzionare bene. In molti scrivono che non va bene per i cavi jack mono (TS) e che funzione solo con i cavi TRS (quelli che hanno Punta Anello e Massa - TIP RING SLAVE) ma ciò non è vero. E' assolutamente normale che inserendo il cavo jack mono quelli tipici per chitarra i PIN 1 e 3 risultino cortocicuitati in quanto nel cavo sbilanciato vengono considerati come un solo contatto. Se risultano interruzioni o falsi contatti sia il PIN 1 che il 3 risulteranno intermittenti . Se vi è cortocicuito tra 1-3 e 2 allora c'è un problema. Prima di testare i cavi ma soprattutto prima di scrivere recensioni errate bisogna anche un pò conoscere la struttura e le differenze di collegamento tra gli stessi. Per il momento sembra funzioni bene speriamo duri anche per vedere la durata delle batterie. IO ho usato due AA ricaricabili e funziona.

Es un tester para tenerlo siempre a mano en el local de ensayo o para salir de bolo.Te permite comprobar diferentes tipos de cables y de una manera muy simple.La caja es metálica y muy robusta con lo que es perfecta para entornos de trabajo hostiles.También dispone de un generador de tonos para testear equipos de sonido.Una herramienta muy útil por un precio muy razonable, sin duda muy interesante.

I have two of these units, one at home and one at work. It tests the usual AV assortment of cables, provides two different audio test tones and can detect phantom power. It can also test a cable without having to disconnect it from the system. The best feature of these units, in my opinion, is the capability to find an intermittent cable or connection. You plug the cable ends in, set the unit to "Cable Tester" mode and then press the reset button. A number of LEDs will light up showing a good connection or lack there of. Then, if you wiggle the cable and there is a bad connection, additional LEDs will light up indicating which pin has the intermittent connection. There is a latching circuit built in that can detect these short lived make or break connections within a cable. The case is rugged, comes with a belt clip and takes 2 AA cells. This is a very useful tester to have around.
