It fits perfectly under my desk, and I have to confess that I don't use it to store suspension files as per its intended purposed. I use it to store my books. The little wheels on the bottom mean I can roll it out from under the desk rather than having to lift or drag it. It doesn't seem like much until you fill it with heavy things, then it's easy to appreciate the fact that they're there. You can remove or not install them if you don't want them.The plastic clips that hold it together are strong and seem resistant to developing any weaknesses when reasonably stressed. They're easy to clip on, and the whole construction is sturdy when in place. No bending or snapping in sight, which is great. The metal cage is sturdy and doesn't bend under reasonable pressures.I know it's supposed to be a file holder, but given the price, it's a great low cost alternative to a cabinet, lumps of plastic storage or flimsy cardboard boxes. It's bigger in real life than it looks in the pictures, so measure first to make sure you have space. It could be seen as quite pricey, but compared to the alternatives, and given its mobile nature, I think it's fine.

Immer wieder habe ich Akten oder Unterlagen, die ich für später brauche, beispielsweise Prospekte, aus denen ich was kaufen möchte, oder Zeugs vom Auto oder für die Steuererklärung. Bisher lag das unsortiert auf einem Haufen und dieser Dokumentenhalter ist die perfekte Ablage dafür, die Unterlagen geordnet und sortiert aufzubewahren. Der Zusammenbau war sehr einfach und das Teil ist sehr stabil. Bin sehr zufrieden damit und empfehle es weiter.

This is a versatile hanging file storage system as it can either sit on a desk or, by adding the included wheels, it can sit on the floor. The file system comes flat packed and requires assembly, which is really easy to do without needing any tools. Each of the pieces are joined together easily using shaped clips. The instructions advise adding the wheels to the base first before assembling the sides. I put this together temporarily as the place that it is to be used permanently isn’t quite ready and, as such I didn’t add the wheels, as the picture shows. The sides of the filing system are clipped to the base first. After that each side is raised and clipped to the one next to it. I clipped the top first all the way around before clipping at the base. At present I don’t have any hanging files so the picture shows a standard A4 folder in storage. Once assembled this does feel a little flimsy and the sides move easily. I am not sure how this will stand up in usage, but, in theory, the addition of the suspended files should stabilise it more. This storage system is also very easy to dismantle for ease of storage when not in use so is ideal as a temporary storage solution.
