We think that it is so refreshing to see natural materials used in products, so we were pleased to find these cork sheets from BENECREAT with the added convenience of a self adhesive backing. Because the sheets are so thin (1mm) they are wonderfully flexible and easy to cut using a sharp craft knife, you could even use scissors... but a sharp craft knife is the obvious choice.Even though the cork sheets are so thin they are much easier to handle and work with than we thought they would be. The cork composition is very fine, with no gaps or voids.We experimented by re-cycling an empty cardboard (cheese sauce granules!) drum after first strengthening the base and covering using two of the squares to make a useful pen pot. For some subtle decoration we used a simple stencil and an ink pad which we think worked really well on the cork. We are sure that paints, inks, or stick on decorations would be just as successful for other projects.30 squares of 15cm costs around £12.99 which we think is very good value for this unusual and versatile product with a smooth soft surface.Naturally, we give this a 5 star rating.

I’m covering the sides of some storage units with those stickers that mimic colourful tiles, and when I saw that these self adhesive cork files are the same size, I thought it would be ideal to mix and match with a few of these to give me pinboard space as part of the decor. They are 1mm thick so I suspect I may want to double up on them, even the shortest drawing pins are likely to find purchase. So it’s worth noting if purchasing these that they are more suitable for crafting (they are thin enough to cut easily with scissors) or decor than using them as pinboards.

Si tratta di 30 quadrati, di lato 15 cm, di sughero sottile. Sul retro del sughero è presente un adesivo che lo tiene saldamente in posizione.Lo spessore è di 1 mm, facile da tagliare con le forbici o con le fustelle.Come si può vedere nella foto, ho realizzato una serie di stelle che utilizzerò a Natale come decorazioni.Spero che questa recensione sia utile.
