This fryer cooks a «snack» size portion.The Housing of this fryer is of a glossy plastic which does not look the same as the plastic of the oil tank and of the bottom of the Unit. Not very reassuring.In the “Ship by” and “Sold by” section of AmazonAU Website, one should understand “German Import” as made with a German type of Plug which needs an adaptor for use in Australia. So, I did order an adaptor of a reputable brand («Korjo»), in order to use it in Australia.On réception: the unit plug is loose in the adaptor, has prongs too short and which do not engage the adaptor fully.I could not safely use the «Beper» Deep Fryer because its plug did not fit snuggly into the electrical adaptor.So I cannot tell how this unit might perform.Personally, I put this buy in the «loss» category.
