Lovely dice but...Mine were nearly all black when they arrived, making them almost impossible to use. I guess due to the application of the ink/paint/stain that is supposed to mark the pips.I spent a happy hour using some wet and dry paper sanding off the surface black to reveal the pips and implied texture of the faux bone dice. Because the pips sit below the surface, you can sand them back without damaging or removing that which makes them functional dice.Generous to give the 4 stars maybe, but I didn't really mind putting in the work. People always comment on them, and how cool they look.
