I have an older Prius and I read a lot of reviews that warned me about buying a Bluetooth adapter that didn’t have a filter on it. So I don’t have any experience to compare it to since I’ve only had one with the filter but it’s been great and I haven’t had any problems. The buttons work for a surprising amount of apps as well.

Absolutely amazing bit of kit. Fitted in a 2006 Mazda 3 with Auxillary cable. Can play Spotify flawlessly with no interference. Make and receive calls with clear voice through the speakers. Person on the other end states they can hear perfectly.Pair with a wireless charging MagSafe cradle and you don't need to upgrade your old head unit!

Con este dispositivo he conseguido que la radio de mi coche tenga capacidad bluetooth. Por el precio que tiene es una solución muy recomendable. Las características/ventajas que proporciona son:- Emparejamiento sencillo. Una vez realizado, al dar el contacto se establece la conexión con el móvil. Caso de que no suceda, basta con pulsar la tecla multifunción (la del icono del teléfono) y se establece inmediatamente. El emparejamiento se evidencia por un sonido que emite y por el led azul del panel- Dispositivo de pequeño tamaño que puede colocarse en el lugar que nos sea más cómodo, aunque en el manual se recomiendan una serie de ubicaciones para optimizar la recepción del micro.- Uno de los usos es la reproducción de música, podcasts, etc. desde el móvil, escuchándose por los altavoces del coche. Ya podemos escuchar Spotify en nuestro coche sin problemas y con buena calidad- Permite su uso como manos libres al disponer de un micrófono. La llamada se escucha igualmente por los altavoces del coche. Las pruebas que he hecho son satisfactorias pudiendo oir bien al que llama y siendo escuchado sin problemas- Los botones del panel de control permiten descolgar la llamada, enmudecer el micrófono, rellamar e incluso activar el asistente de voz, ya sea Siri en los teléfonos de Apple como Google Now en los Android. Yo he probado el Google Now y le puedo dar instrucciones como "llama a casa" o "ir a casa" y funciona. También permiten cambiar de canciónComo inconveniente destacaría que es muy recomendable adquirir el equipo con el filtro de ruido. Yo lo he comprado sin él y se produce un leve sonido agudo que puede llegar a resultar molesto. Dependerá de cada coche. El filtro está pensado para suprimir ese ruido. Puede adquirirse aparte y es sencillísima su instalación (basta con intercalarlo en la salida jack hacia la toma auxiliar de la radio)En resumen: producto muy recomendable, a muy buen precio y que cumple con todas las espectativas

My car's getting just a bit too old to make it worth investing in a whole new head unit with touchscreen, satnav and bluetooth, but the lack of BT handsfree capability and music streaming was getting to be a drag, so I took the plunge and bought this one (actually chose it over the slightly newer version because of its cleaner look and magnetic dashboard mount as opposed to air vent clip).I have to say I'm impressed. Yes, it's a bit plasticky, but for 20 quid? Excellent value. Just to address the initial concerns I had myself before buying:1. The blue light is NOT intrusive at night. The telephone receiver pictogram glows with about the same intensity as other dashboard lights. In my MK2 Focus it's positioned quite low, mounted on one of the blank panels by the rear windscreen demister button, so a little bit higher than the top of the gearstick, but it would also be fine higher up and closer to your field of vision.2. The supplied ground loop filter eliminates ALL buzzing and humming. Sound quality now worse than playing through the aux socket with a cable, although the radio in my car never had the best sound to start with. Generally though, I find that listening to Spotify there's a lot of difference in the streaming quality of different songs - sometimes it sounds really good, so I don't think the BT receiver is the weakest link here.3. Pairing is quick and very reliable. Controls work all the time. Contrary to some reviews it DOES work with Siri (although I rarely use that function). My power socket is always on, but once you go out of range it shuts down automatically after a few minutes of inactivity. To switch it on you just press the middle button and it immediately pairs up with your phone again. It's no hassle to do that, but when I hardwire it to the car, I will have it come on with the ignition so there's no need to do even that.Having tested it using the cigar lighter and wires stuffed into the cubby hole under the dash, I've now bought a hardwired USB power supply and piggy-back fuse for a clean installation, with wires to be run behind the dashboard facias. The magnetic holder is a little weak and the unit turns in it like a dial, so once it's permanently in place I will put a drop of superglue on the back to fix it securely to the backing plate. If I've got time, I'll put some pictures up here of the finished installation when it's done.
