Bought as a gift for my brother as he is a guitarist. He's well happy.Loads of tunes to choose from and advice.Highly recommend

Love this music! The absolute and sublime master of Guitarmony (guitar harmony) Dominic is the most successful alumnus of Guildhall school since the fifth Beatle, George Martin, and he’s thankfully sharing his music so beautifully (in this songbook) with a generation of guitarists who haven’t got perfect pitch or simply can’t transcribe so he’s done it for us. Poignant tunes like Shape of My Heart work so beautifully as instrumentals here and quite likely will now begin to reinvigorate the repertoire of many an undergraduate or even post graduate final recital guitar student of both jazz and classical faculties. Lullaby To An Anxious Child from Dominic’s brilliant debut solo album ‘First Touch’ touches me like the first time I was fortunate to hear it in his home attic studio. Born in Buenos Aires, like Astor Piazzolla, the same happy sad plaintive melodies are idiomatic of Miller’s impressive body of work which through these superb 17 transcriptions by Fabien Mornet will surely win him a place in the guitar firmament not just because of his multimillion selling album co-compositions with Jazz Superstar Sting but through his ‘magnificent for guitar’ instrumentalism. He’ll now take his much deserved place in the Classical Guitar cannon with Sor, Tarrega, Barrios, Villa Lobos and dare I say it JS Bach. Dominic is too modest to even consider himself to be in-cannon with such luminaries but I do! I've been waiting for a guitar tab book of Dominic's music for a long time. The pieces represent his composing since First touch CD. Excellent tabs as Dominic was involved in transcription. If you a fan and fancy a challenge get this book!

Libro non per principianti, utile per familiarizzare con i tempi composti e con le open tuning (utilissime e ben fatte le tablature così come l'impaginazione) Avrei gradito qualche diteggiatura in più ma sono comunque di facile lettura, soprattutto i 4 brani scelti dal repertorio con Sting. ( mi sarebbe piaciuto ce ne fossero di più, spero in un secondo volume). Armonie moderne e latine da alternare piacevomente al repertorio cosiddetto colto. Io lo alterno volentieri allo studio dei preludi di Villa Llobos e ai brani di Brower
