I tried this plate with a small sauce pan that is too small for my induction hob to work. In 5 mins for 1 inch of water it still hadn’t boiled, however it was smoking and left a terrible ‘burn’ mark on the hob glass surface.Really not impressed, if the Hob was brand new I’d be complaining to the manufacturer. As it is I’m returning the product (which also looks the worse for wear after only one use!)Cheaper to buy a new saucepan!!!!

If you have an induction hob, this device enables you to use any pans even if they are not compatible with your hob. It also stays hot for quite a long time so you can continue to simmer while the hob is off saving power. It is smaller than it looks but it still works on most pan sizes.

I just used it a few times and it suddenly started to blow up?

It works well in the beginning but after a few minutes, the hob gives an error. It might be becayse of the weird design it has. I tried another product feom a well known brand, which has a flat surface, works much better.
