This dressing gown fits well and is very comfortable, though the finishing could be better. The fabric feels soft and breathable, neither thin nor scratchy. With just the right amount of stretch, it allows easy, comfortable movement and has a fluid drape that flatters the body. It is not see-through, and when I gently pull at the seams, they give slightly but spring back without any cracking sound or visible stress. The blue is more muted than shown in the advert; it leans towards grey, which gives it a duller, less airy appearance. The sleeves are relaxed yet well-shaped, roomy without overwhelming the arms. The shoulder seams sit neatly on the shoulder line, adding to the laid-back elegance. The belt is made from the same quality fabric and is thick enough to hold a knot without slipping, neither too flimsy nor bulky. The hems are cleanly folded and securely stitched with a neat edge. The mid-calf length lies flat and stayed put after washing, with no twisting or curling. The stitching throughout is even and firm, with no puckering. However, there were quite a few loose threads, which I had to snip away (a minor annoyance). The inner waist tie is a handy feature, keeping the gown from shifting and providing a secure, wrapped feel. The shawl collar has enough body to form a soft curve around the neck. It is constructed with white interfacing lightly fused inside, helping it fold back smoothly and sit neatly against the chest. The two side pockets are generously sized, symmetrical, and deep enough to hold essentials. The side slits are modest and clearly designed for practicality, with clean stitching that prevents fraying or tearing. The overall length falls just below the knee, with a hem that stays even, even when belted.Aside from the loose threads, my other dislike is with the design of the collar and front edge, which are cut from one piece and simply folded back. While it is tacked just below the neckline to stop it flopping open, the rest is left unsecured. This means the edge catches on my arm when putting the gown on.I ended up adding hand-stitches along the full front edge to keep it in place, which helped functionally but slightly changed the look.

I really like this dressing gown, the material is really lightweight but still warm and snuggly. I ordered a medium and I’m 5 ft 4 and approximately 64kgs and it’s a little big, but I do really like it like that, it’s very comfy and I love the length it’s below the knee. Definitely recommend.

So I have a bathrobe (terry cloth material usually worn when just out of the shower, etc.), and I wanted a dressing gown (thinner materials that look classier when out in the garden or just lounging around the house). This is most definitely a dressing gown. The material is thinner, softer and elegant looking. I had a shower last night, put on my loungewear (it's just a matching top and trousers made of teddy bear material), and put this over the top. This feels luxurious. Very soft (material is 92 per percent cotton, 8 per cent spandex). Its washable and its a good length.I went by the chart and ordered medium (size 12/14) as I have lost some weight and amazon size chart for me hasnt been updated. So the sizing is right on the sellers pictures for me.The length is just below the knee for me (5 5) and the arms are a good length (not to long).I love the pockets on either side and I love that it has the inside ribbon which means it doesnt gape. The outside ribbon is a good length that I could do a little bow with it.Overall this is a good dressing gown. Check the sizes if your ordering one but it was fine for me.The price at time of the review is 24.99, I normally spend about 20 quid for this type of garment but its usually a fluffy bathrobe.I will have to try and channel my inner movie star when wearing this.
