Initially, I was a bit underwhelmed by the DT 1770 Pro. Coming from the Hifiman Aryas, the sound seemed muffled uninspired. It definitely didn't have the sound stage that everyone was raving about.However, I kept on listening to them across the span of a week, and the sound dramatically opened up. At this point, after about 10 hours of listening, the soundstage widened significantly, and the detail retrieval now seems incredibly precise. I can now pinpoint individual instruments with ease, and the overall presentation is much more engaging and dynamic.For the price, these headphones punch way above their weight class. I'd easily compare them to headphones twice their price, if not more.Key Takeaways:Burn-in is real: Don't judge these cans out of the box. Give them time to reach their full potential.Power is essential: These are demanding headphones. Gleich vorweg - einen Kopfhörer oder Lautsprecher zu bewerten ist immer so eine subjektive Sache - manchen Schmeckt ein Ton etwas besser als anderen :)Ich habe nach einem guten Ersatz für meinen Harman Kardon NC gesucht da dieser langsam seinen Geist aufgab und wollte dieses mal eine "neue Klasse" Kopfhörer ausprobieren. Ich hatte keinerlei Erfahrungen mit der Marke Beyerdynamic aber die Technischen Daten und diverse Empfehlungen haben mich zum Kauf angetrieben... Und ich bin in keinster weise enttäuscht worden!Zwei Dinge haben mir vor der Bestellung gewisse sorgen bereitet:1. Der Kopfhörer wirkt durch die Materialien, den soliden Aufbau und die dickeren Kabel schwerer als er tatsächlich ist - entgegen meiner Erwartungen spüre ich aber schon nach einigen Minuten nicht mehr das ich einen Kopfhörer trage! Nachdem der Hörer angeliefert wurde hatte ich Ihn volle 7 Stunden auf dem Kopf und ich hatte nicht einmal gerötete Ohren...2. Die fehlende, aktive Geräuschunterdrückung; meine Harman Kardon NC habe ich über 4 Jahre gut und gerne verwendet und wollte eigentlich unbedingt wieder Ohrhörer mit aktiver Geräuschunterdrückung weil ich weder meine Körpereigenen Geräusche gehört habe noch habe ich irgendwelche Umgebungsgeräusche wahrgenommen. Bei einem mit 8 Lüftern ausgestatteten Gaming-PC neben mir hatte ich gewisse Bedenken, dass der Beyerdynamic diese Geräuschkulisse so gut ausblendet, dass es nicht mehr störend ist (mit dem NC hat man praktisch nichts mehr gehört). Ich war erstaunt wie gut der Beyerdynamic die Geräuschkulisse unterdrücken konnte! Sobald ein Lied auch nur leise abgespielt wurde nahm ich kaum bis keine Umgebungsgeräusche mehr wahr! Allerdings höre ich meine eigene Stimme wieder umso lauter - aber dazu unten mehr...Diese Dinge haben mich sehr Überrascht/gefreut:1. So richtig umgehauen hat mich dann aber diese unglaublich klare und echte Klangwiedergabe! Ich war beeindruckt von der vielfalt der Geräusche in manchen Stücken die ich vorher so noch nie richtig wahrgenommen habe. Da ich sehr viel verlustfreie Musik und originale Studioaufnahmen habe kommt der Kopfhörer hier wirklich voll zur geltung! Bässe und Höhen werden sehr schön wiedergegeben und sind nicht zu stark oder zu aufdringlich.2. Es gibt hier 2 mitgelieferte Kabel - ein Spiralkabel und ein normales Kabel. Beide haben bereits einen 3,5mm Stecker auf den der 6,3 mm Stecker nur aufgeschraubt ist - sehr Praktisch! Die Kabel sind ziemlich Robust ausgeführt und ich denke so leicht wird man die nicht Kaputt bekommen - insbesondere das Spiralkabel. Und obwohl die Kabel so lang und dick sind, wiegen sie beinahe nichts!3. Ich habe nach 7 Stunden anfänglichen tragens weder an/in den Ohren geschwitzt noch hat etwas gedrückt. Ich verwende die Lederpolster wegen der besseren Isolierung gegen Aussengeräusche und ich ich war erstaunt, dass meine Ohren nicht sofort heiss geworden sind!4. Dieses Teil liefert Power! Und das ist beinahe schon gefährlich... Der Kopfhörer kann wirklich sehr laut werden! Das beste ist, dass dabei weder etwas klirrt noch dröhnt!Man sollte hierbei aber auf zwei Dinge ganz besonders achten; 1. Die Quelle sollte einen möglichst hohen Rauschabstand haben (in meinem Fall eine Sound Blaster Z mit 116db SNR) und 2. sollte die Quelle wirklich frei von elektrischen Störungen sein - billige PC-Netzteile oder ein schlecht geerdeter Verstärker werden einem bei diesen Kopfhörern definitiv unangehm werden, da man hier ALLES wahrnimmt was durch das Kabel geschickt wird...5. Der Kopfhörer ist gegen Berührungen gut isoliert - wenn das Kabel irgendwo scheuert oder man gegen die Hörmuscheln tippt, nimmt man nur sehr leise Geräusche wahr. Auch wenn man über den metallenen Bügel gleitet, hört man erstaunlich wenig Geräusche...6. Es gibt von Beyerdynamic eine breite Palette an Ersatzteilen - wenn hier mal was kaputt gehen sollte muss man also nicht gleich einen neuen Kopfhörer kaufen sondern kann sich einiges selbst neu kaufen und richten! Insbesondere interessant für zerfranste Ohrpolster und gerissene/geknickte Kabel.Was es sonst noch zu erwähnen gibt:1. Der Kopfhörer ist nur bedingt für Reisen geeignet weil er sich nicht zusammenlegen oder drehen lässt. Das sollte hier aber auch kein großes Problem darstellen da man hier ja auch echte Studio-Kopfhörer erwirbt :)2. Es gibt zwar eine nette Aufbewahrungsbox für Hörer, Polster und Kabel, allerdings ist mir dieses Teil etwas zu klobig und so bleiben die Kopfhörer entweder auf dem Tisch liegen oder auf einen Ständer aufgehängt.3. Das wechseln der Ohrpolster ist ein klein wenig friemelig aber doch irgendwie gut gelöst. Beim ersten mal mag sich so mancher schwer tun das Polster auf die Ohrmuschel aufzuziehen aber irgendwann hat man dann den Bogen raus.4. Als "Noise Cancelling geschädigter" ist mir sofort aufgefallen, dass ich, wenn ich die Kopfhörer aufhabe und Spreche, meine eigene Stimme sehr laut und sehr tief höre. Das finde ich persönlich doch recht unangenehm, gerade dann wenn ich beim Zocken nebenher Spreche. Aber das ist vielleicht nur eine Gewöhnungssache und fällt mir besonders stark auf, da das vorher eben nicht der Fall war. Das soll keine Kritik an den Hörern selbst sein da das ja Bauartbedingt so ist.Fazit:Eine klare Kaufempfehlung wenn man einen sehr präzisen und klaren Kopfhörer für Zuhause sucht! Man darf aber vor dem Preis nicht zurückschrecken denn die Ohren werden es einem definitv danken :)An dieser Stelle ist noch einmal wichtig zu erwähnen, dass der Kopfhörer aus einer schlechten 128kbps MP3 kein Weltwunder zaubern kann. Wenn man sich also so ein Gerät zulegt sollte man über eine adäquate, wenigstens digital Verstärkte, Signalquelle verfügen und zudem natürlich auch passende, hochauflösende Musik parat haben (gute (DTS,SA)CDs, BluRays, Schallplatten oder idealerweise unkomprimierte Musik).Dieser Kopfhörer verändert den Klang in keinster Weise - Wie man in den Wald hinein ruft, so schallt es heraus!

En mi caso tengo el DAC Dragon Fly Red el cual hace una mancuerna perfecta con estos audífonos, ya que suenan excelentes tanto con mi Mac que con mi iPhone. Los recomiendo ampliamente, la calidad des su sonido y materiales es excelente, estos audífonos tienen una cancelación de ruido muy buena natural, por su construcción (audífonos cerrados). Tanto no sale el sonido (es decir pueden ser utilizados en una oficina) como tampoco entra. No se requiere un volumen excesivo para escucharlos. Al principio quizá se sientan un poco incomodos pero en muy poco tiempo te acostumbraras y los podrías utilizar por largas jornadas. Las almohadillas de piel son las que debes tener en estos audífonos ya que aislándoos mas el sonido y los bajos y sub graves se escucharan excelentes. Escucharas tu música de una manera que nunca la habías escuchado, Si reproduces archivos FLAC (sin compresión) logras notar un 10- 20 % mas calidad, pero vale la pena mencionar que tanto spotify como apple music también suenan excelente. RECOMENDADOS AMPLIAMENTE.

Bought with my own cash money.Update IV --- 23/2/16 --- Ditched the A20 as treble detail was a little bit lacking and the bass had a tendency to be slightly overwhelming (only a tad - but enough to cause brain annoyance!) which I'm putting down to the power output of the amplifier as I had a similar issue with my high output tube amp. I preferred the sound signature of the DT1770's plugged straight into my iPad but it didn't go loud enough on some recordings and lacked some body (Brilliant for modern well mastered tracks so if that's your bag - you don't need an amp!). I've since switched to the Oppo HA-2 which has a good clean neutral sound and with its low gain switch the bass is once again perfect and no loss of any resolution whatsoever. Killer combo. Keeper for Defo (and no more updates!!).Update III --- 25/12/15 ---- Now paired with Beyerdynamic A20 Amplifier - Just Wow! Really opens these babies up! I thought they were great without an amp and even better when paired with my Fiio E12a but paired with the A20 these are sublime. Expensive but worth it (Someone burgled my house xmas eve and took my Sony MDR-Z7 but left my Beyers! Silver lining and all that!).Update II --- 23/11/15 --- After more research (and reading Dale Thorns review - who I usually agree with) I found out that these may not match well with tube amps so bought them again and paired them with my Fiio E12A and these are like a different headphone. Maybe my original pair had a slight driver mismatch but the boomy bass and slightly distant mids along with a slightly higher volume in the left ear have all been rectified with this pair! I've been amazed that these have such powerful deep bass when its present on a recording but when the track doesn't have any bass these stay faithful to the original recording and don't add any extra colouring. Truly amazing and not something I have heard on any other headphone. So glad I tried them again! Although the DT150's are still amazing value for money I think I will be keeping the DT1770's and retiring my tube amp.Update --- 6/11/15 ---- Now sold! After Extensive A/B testing against my £96 Beyer DT150 250 ohm through my Littledot II MKII tube amp I've come to the conclusion that there isn't enough difference to justify the extra £350. I've EQ'd the mid bass down a few Db and this has brought the tanklike DT150's to life. I was amazed at the difference it made. Plus the Mids are more present on the DT150's which is a shame as I wanted to love the 1770's but they just didn't do it for me to justify keeping them.Original review ---Having lived with the DT770 250 ohm for years I was on the fence about these given the higher price but I finally bit the bullet and they certainly are exquisite.Build quality is always top notch with Beyer but these have an added layer of luxury to the usual utilitarian materials and styling.Hifiguy 528 (Hifi insider) Mike on YouTube had it right when he said the DT770's feel like a toy next to these! Check his unboxing for a peek at all the bits n bobs and the materials etc.I usually love neutral headphones with a bit of oomph (Oppo PM3 are the stand out ones for me) but I've always loved the bass on my DT770's as it just thunders through my bones with an amp.What I've never loved is the extremely bright treble. Sure it's great for detail but the Oppo PM3 showed me you could still have the treble detail without the sibilant peaks that the DT770/880/990 line is infamous for. I always found myself EQ'ing the Mids up slightly on the 770's with their V-shaped sound signature.And basically the DT1770 addresses all these issues for me. You get all the Bass loveliness of the 770's but with a more present midrange and a perfect treble (to my ears). I've seen some reviewers say that even the 1770 has a peaky treble but I don't see how that can be the case! It's just right and very welcome! The bass also has more texture on the 1770's (something I had never heard before! Bass texture!? But yep you can get a real sense of it with these).But are they worth the price hike? Well as always it's subjective but if for whatever reason you're like me and can't use open backs then these I reckon are as close as you can get to a high end open back sound in closed back form and still keep the price below £500!The sound stage is certainly very 'open' for a closed back can and certainly not as congested as the Oppo PM3's. What's more these being Tesla drivers they are extremely efficient and run to substantial listening levels straight out of my IPhone 5s despite them being 250 ohm (a hell of a lot louder than my 770 250 ohm anyway! Weird!).I've now got them running through my LittkeDot II MKII Tube amp and they sound great.Hope some of this helps.Stew
