I Googled the material of these taps: GCr15.I was pleased to notice this is standard bearing steel, which is among the high quality carbon steel alloys with chromium and manganese among the ingredients.If you are DIY, tap by hand every now and then, and don't need industrial speeds, this will do the same as HSS steel - which cost a lot more.I tested the M14 x 1.0; on a dowling jig I bought, and it cleaned up the rough surface of the drill bushing thread that was damaged.Very happy!

Niet duur, snel in huis! Goede kwaliteit in handig doosje. Ik heb m gebruikt voor een schroefdraad reparatie van een bougie ( M14, toen draadbus m16, ging mis.., daarna deze tap vervolgens draadbus M16 :-) )

Toen de draadtap aankwam gelijk gevoeld of deze wel scherp genoeg was voor het tappen van schroefdraad. Nee, dus. Tap is onbruikbaar voor het gestelde doel. Onduidelijk is of dit komt door een slecht product of dat de tap na gebruik retour is gestuurd, wat kwalijk zou zijn. Gezien meerdere meldingen hierover is 1 ster eigenlijk al te veel aangezien een botte tap meer slecht dan goed kan doen.

provate su alluminio funzionano bene, sembrano abbastanza rigide, occorre vedere se su ferro, quando sono soggette ad una torsione superiore, si sezzano o sopravvivono.
