If you shoot recurve, with a plunger, and use feather fletchings, don't use this. I thought it was my plunger ripping off the feathers. I removed the plunger and then the feathers really started to fly off. The cause is, that the hinge pops outward and the rest moves inward when the arrow is released. This causes the hinge to act as a razor across the arrow shaft, shaving off your feathers.I also found that the wire moves too much inward toward the bow and you have to loosen the Allen screw on the hinge, reset the wire rest to the correct position (outward slightly more than the thickness of the shaft), and tighten, only to redo this process after 3-4 arrows.Found shooting off the shelf to be 1000x better than this, and I hate shooting off the shelf
