I bought this for my Elegoo Saturn S and it arrived as promised. But after putting the build plate on the printer build plate, I saw that it was a little bit to small. So I will buy a bigger one. I have no problems with printing with this build plate. It's a great add-on for the printer.

Makes it so much easier to remove prints from the buildplate, I'm no longer hacking away at it just flex and it comes off, only smaller flat items in the middle still come off slightly more difficult.Getting the magnet on went without a hitch, left it for 72 hours with weight on it.

Plate is a big game changer for me and after 10 prints I am super happy with update. Problem is lip of plate that is sticking too far and scratch aluminum tray which course first print to fail (layers shift) I solved problem after grinding lip to half length so there is no option that will touch tray. I think that should be somewhere as note that plate is "almost" compatible with halot-one printer - note: modifications to product needed ;) happy printing !

So I added this for easy removable almost directly after getting my Saturn.And I was getting issues with printing, I got layer separation on high suction parts.I added hales I spend hours on tweaking the 3D model. I printed smaller versions, and even a 5cm moon globe had layer separation.And yesterday I concluded that it was the flex bed, the layer cap was always in the length of the bed, where the flex bed is weakest.I removed the flex bed, and my printer prints good again.Now I understand why the bed comes with almost no manual, so you can spread doubt to the user if they are using it correct. But in the end it is just a bad product, that maybe works on small printers but NOT on the Saturn!DO NOT USE if you print big stuff.I am sending it back as this product is not working.

Geleverd met 3m magnetische plaat. Nog niet op de printer gemonteerd dus nog geen eindoordeel. Snel geleverd.Update: Werkt perfect. Na het aanbrengen van de magnetische laag die onder druk minimaal 24 uur laten rusten om goed te hechten. Eerste prints werken perfect.

Binnengekregen voor mijn Halot One (zelfde printbed als de LD-002H) en gelijk gemonteerd en hij past perfect en na 24 uur is nagenoeg eengesmolten met het printbed. Paar prints in viel het me ineens op dat ik bij het starten van de print een harde "klunk" hoorde als het brintbed in de tank neerkwam. Proberen te achterhalen wat er was maar afgeschreven op "dat zijn normale printgeluiden" en verder gegaan met printen. Echter kwam ik er onlangs achter, na een gefaalde print, dat toen ik mijn Vat geleegd had dat de verwijderbare plaat een stuk verf van het vat afgeschraapt had. Ziedaar: het "klunk"-geluid. Het is een handige plaat die voor het snel afhalen van de prints kan zorgen maar het lipje wat aangebracht is om de plaat van het printbed af te halen is simpelweg te groot. Tegenwoordig duw ik het lipje ietwat terug en zelfs dan nog kan ik zonder problemen het gehele bed gebruiken, maar het heeft me wel een vat gekost voordat ik dit doorhad. Vandaar maar 2 sterren want dit kan desastreus aflopen als door een losgebroken plaat je FEP doorgeprikt wordt of erger nog, je LCD kapotgedrukt is.

the easier way to release your prints form the resinprinter buildplate

I used to fight with a chissel and a hammer to get all the resin of my buildplate but with this product I can clear it within a minute. It makes printing so much easier. I only wish I had this a year ago.

Comprado para una Elegoo Mars 3 Pro.Forma en que la puse:1. Limpié muy bien la plataforma antes de pegarla (importante, sino no pega) y la dejé curando casi un día entero antes de usarla.2. Tuve que hacer una pequeña modificación en el sensor del eje Z, ya que no confiaba que llegara con los mm extra que le da el imán + la placa metálica al sensor para detenerse. Mi solución fue suplementar con dos arandelas la pieza que se encarga de activar el sensor, de esta manera baja un poco, lo suficiente, para llegar (adjunto foto).3. Lijar. Otra modificación recomendable es lijar (yo use grano 180) la superficie metálica (la placa fina que va a ir en contacto con la figura, no la cama original), para que la adherencia sea mayor, si no lo hacía se me despegaban las piezas y me caían en el vat (aunque esto me pasó con otro modelo y en la saturn, así que desde esa vez, siempre los lijo).4. Calibrar la cama después de lijar5. Si aún así se caen. Para conseguir aún mas adherencia aumenté también los segundos en las capas inferiores, si antes tenía 35, ahora tengo 38.Con todo esto, conseguí buenos resultados a la primera. Además la primera figura que imprimí pesaba, y aún así aguanto y no cayó, ya que cuando la saqué estaba llena de resina, por la situación del agujero en la pieza.Adjunto fotos de todo, la de la pieza es para que se vea como se imprimió.Espero haber ayudado, saludos!

Après avoir abîmé la surface de mon légion mars 2 pro à cause d'impressions qui collaient tellement bien au plateau j'avais cessé de l'utiliser. Déjà que l'utilisation de la résine demandé toute une installation et des précautions assez relou, se battre pour décoller (et casser !) ses impressions m'a dégoûté.Finalement j'ai testé une "dernière fois" en plaçant ce support aimanté sur la plaque d'impression et ça a tout changé ! D'une facilité d'utilisation incroyable, cela m'a permis de faire reprendre du service à mon imprimante résine :)Il suffit de coller l'aimant à votre plaque, puis d'aimanter dessus le côté "metal". On retirer la plaque métal aimanté à la fin de l'impression, on tord un poil la plaque et tout se décolle avec la facilité d'une impression PLA 😊Joie bonheur !

I'd read a few things about magnetic flexi build plates for resin printers for a while, but been a bit reticent about getting one.I should not have been.I have an Elegoo Mars Pro that I got around May 2020. Printing has been good, but sometimes the plate adhesion was a little TOO good. Elegoo's water-washable black resin in particular was extremely difficult to remove and even with the other resins, a raft was always needed if I didn't want to spend 15 mins chiselling the print off the plate, sometimes damaging the print and frequently scoring the plateSo this arrived the other day, and I pulled on my big-boy pants and stuck the magnety thing to the plate (after a good old clean with IPA.) First thing to note; it's not 100% perfectly sized/shaped to the build plate, maybe 0.5-1mm oversized, and I did think about trimming it to size, but figured, so long as it stays put, more magnet to hold the plate in place is more important. I then left it about 24 hrs for the glue to cure. (It's a 3M branded sticky sheet, so no chance of the resin flowing into gaps etc and making life messier.)So, time for bed levelling. Some printers need to have the z-limit switch moved and spacers added to account for the extra thickness of the magnet and metal sheet., but the original Mars Pro does not appear to need that. I popped the metal plate on and pressed the edges to a flat surface to make sure the plate was aligned, and screwed the plate in place and levelled the plate as I normally would using the sheet of paper method.There is sufficient "play" in the ball-joint to account for the additional thickness, but it was close. The first time I tried, the printer complained that I needed to Home the plate before setting Z=0 so it must not have hit the switch, but loosening the plate, moving the Z axis another 3-4mm lower allowed me to set Z=0 fine.I was then able to print away exactly as I did before. You could even get away with not removing the build-plate, just remove the metal plate, but reattaching it straight might be tricky. In any case, removing prints is SO easy, I did a few prints and was still using rafts, but can do without the bevelled sidewall now. Just a slight flex of the plate and you can just peel the print off, I didn't even need a plastic scraper, let alone a metal one. I have yet to try the black resin that I had issues with, but I don't anticipate a problem anymore.I wish I'd got one of these a long time ago, it's already improved my post-processing and I think it's one of those quality of life things that should be on all printers.
