On the good side, every song is written out from start to finish without having to work out how the repeats work (all that DS al coda stuff) and the piano part is properly represented. However, that does mean that each song spans several pages and the page-turn is always right in the middle of a verse. So, good for learning songs but not good for performing (why haven't you learnt the songs yet???)

Thank you Dave Rosenthal for going back through Billy's catalog and nailing all of these classics. It bothered me for years how off some of them were, to the point it's how I first learned to improvise!

If you're a Billy Joel fan and pianist you'll enjoy this but it's disappointing not all his major songs are included.
