I initially purchased to set up with my base station crt ss6900n. Recently purchased a Midland Alan 42 DS and from YouTube someone suggested swapping out the supplied mobile antenna (which by all accounts is naff) with this bingfu antenna. Let's just say I picked up a station from the Netherlands whilst sitting in a Dorset car park! So, this antenna works for me!
