This should be a 0 star review but that wasn’t an option.I expect Black Diamond to ship undamaged goods. The delivery box was in perfect condition but this is how I received my poles - minor crack on the left pole handle and significant damage on the right pole handle.I don’t care whose fault it is - the manufacturer’s or Amazon’s. I leave for an expedition in the next few days so it’s impossible to return these and get replacements in time. I will have to repair or tape it up myself. Horrible experience and never ordering again from this seller or manufacturer. Feel sick and helpless having paid for this.

I received a defective product: the clips tightening the height of the poles arrived dysfunctional. I had to ship them back. Bad (product quality, shipment, reimbursement) experience in general, which explains the 1-star rating. I ordered another similar product but never obtained a delivery date and had to cancel the order after 10-11 days.

Used them through the worst of the winter months walking on the South Downs, in snow, ice and mud. Very reassuring and I felt very sure footed. Nice and light, we actually mostly just shared one pole each.
