I got this to replace a military style fleece blanket which I would normally put over my 3 season bag for a bit more warmth, if I put it in the bag with me it just wraps around my legs. If I put it over the bag it often slides off.Enter this fleece liner, which I actually use to put the sleeping bag itself in.I find the bag works really well inside the liner (which is quite roomy) rather than have the liner as, well a liner. The material of the bag allows me to move about freely and snug inside the fleece liner which holds to my sleeping mat a lot better. I have found it cuts out on ground chill and as there is essentially two sets of zips, I've not found heat lost through the bottom of the bag either.It's not a heavy liner, I weighed it at under 600g, but it is bulky, it will be the same size as your sleeping bag at least, but for the added warmth and the fact I would have a blanket with me anyways this actually does the job really well.I've not needed to wash it, but would assume you take care like you would with all fleece items, the zip seems good and if you want a pro tip, get some graphite dust lubricant and apply with a small brush for a silkly zip motion.If you want a bit more warmth to an existing bag and don't mind the extra bulk in your pack (I use a 65L anyways which has more than enough room), then I would recommend.
