Blue Sea makes great stuff! Definitely buy these fuses over the Chinese knock-offs (I got a bad cheapy fuse).

Alas, how can I truly review such a product? It’s really difficult to draw enough current to blow one of these. But I can tell you was confidence, I bought a couple of these more than five years ago and ran them for two years on lead acid batteries in a class B RV. I never managed to blow one of them. This year, I’ve been running three of these fuses, one on each of three 100 amp hour Life Poe batteries attached to an energy 3000 W inverter. Even running my domestic air conditioner and microwave simultaneously, none of these has ever failed prematurely. That being said, I have not completed enough of a load test to verify that they do blow when they are supposed to, so hopefully somebody else can comment on that. Considering the price, I’m hesitant to waste one on a test like that.

I installed this on my travel trailer after reading some horror stories about wires burning buried deep in the trailer due to a short. Being that some of the deep cycles can put out up to 1000 amps when dead ended i though this is a cheap form of insurance. This little guy sits on the battery terminal (can't get any closer than that) to protect the entire trailer .
