Our house has 18+ year-old cabinets with original Blum hinges. For the third time, one of them has decided to quit working. Something breaks inside (spring?) and they just refuse to open. Which means the cabinet door only opens about 1/3 way. The good news is the old hinge disengages by pressing the clip at rear, then I just unscrewed it and screwed in this new one which fits into the original mounting bracket in the cabinet and 'clicks' into place. Yay.
