As someone who likes to build their own battery packs and BMS’s, battery storage and safety is the top priority when handling chemical bombshells (AKA batteries!).These lipo battery storage bags from Bofanze are made to be fireproof and designed for storing lithium polymer batteries, which can be a bit volatile if handled incorrectly. You know, the kind used in drones, model planes, even phones have them now. They come in a pack of two, and each bag is about 18 by 8 by 6.5 centimetres, so they’re a decent size for most small to medium batteries. They're made from this fiberglass cloth that's designed to withstand high temperatures, the idea being that if a battery were to overheat or catch fire, the bag would contain the flames and stop it from spreading. It’s a good safety measure for your workshop or home, and possibly useful if you disconnect a battery from a scooter and then travel on public transport - size depending.I've been using them to store some of my batteries as I usually have a few charged up to around 80% and almost ready to go, so these bags give me peace of mind knowing they're safely contained when they are left unattended. I'm not entirely convinced they'd hold back a full-on explosion, but they definitely seem like they’d mitigate the impact and contain any flames. They’re lightweight, which is handy, and the closure is a long Velcro strip, which makes it very easy to get the batteries in and out. Plus, having a full Velcro closure means there's no risk of a zipper getting stuck or damaged. It just makes it so much easier to use, and I really liked that aspect of these bags. The bags are black and they seem well-made, no loose threads or anything like that - they’re very tidy looking. They’re also foldable, so if you’re not using them, they don’t take up much space. They can also be used for other types of batteries too, like the ones in mobile power banks, and if you cut some foam then these could be used with a number of cells, like 18650’s and 21700’s, for storage. Features wise, you're getting fireproof fiberglass embedded construction, a very grippy Velcro closure, a decent size for multiple batteries, and they’re foldable for easy storage. They've given me a bit more confidence in storing my batteries, and for the price, they seem like a worthwhile investment, especially if you’re like me and you're building battery packs and have batteries lying around - really nice, well worth a look.
