This is a very good tea pot. I used to use cheesecloth, which I would sit in my pot. That method created a big mess and a cheesecloth bag that I had to sit out to dry. This tea pot keeps the loose leaf material suspended in the liquid without touching the bottom and scalding. The clear glass is nice to see the potency of what you are making. We bought this pot, because the ceramic pots we kept getting kept getting their lids broke. The glass material that this pot is made with seems really strong and we haven't broke it yet. You can't stir well or plunge with this pot, but that hasn't been a problem. If you fill the cage all the way up with material, you have to fill the pot all the way up with water in order to make it diffuse properly, or if you want half a pot, just fill up the cage half way. It is really easy to clean. Just take out the cage and tap it into the trash, rinse out in the sink, and sit upside down to dry. I am very happy with this purchase.

Nachdem meine letzte Kanne einen großen Riß bekommen hat, bin ich nach längerer Suche hier bei dieser Kanne gelandet.Hier noch Dank an alle ehrlichen Rezensenten!Wichtigste Merkmale:positiv:- ist aus stabilem Borsilikatglas- kann ohne Filter auch in die Mikrowelle- Kanne darf in die Spülmaschine- lt. Hersteller kann sie auch auf den Elektro- und Gasherd- Griff wird nicht heiß- kleckert nicht beim ausgießen, auch wenn sie sehr voll ist- Deckel fällt nicht runter, weil er festgeschraubt wird und das mit oder ohne Filter- Tee läßt sich gut wieder aus dem Filter herausspülen- sieht gut aus - einfache klare Formnegativ:- Filter läßt sich im heißen Zustand nicht ohne Probleme herausholen- Filter ist aus sehr feinem Metalldraht, zwar gut verarbeitet, aber er wird sicher im Laufe der Zeit schnell verbeult werden- Deckel kann nicht dicht geschlossen werdenFazit:die Vorteile überwiegen eindeutig und das bei diesem günstigen Preis von 13,24€ + 3€ Versandkosten.Sehr empfehlenswert
