I got this pencil to use while cross stitching on black aida. I was on a life quest to find something fine tipped that I could mark out my stitches ahead of time, not just grid. I had tried at least three white fabric pencils that failed to deliver.This pencil is exactly what I was looking for! TIt works exactly like a mechanical pencil and even came with refills. The marks go on fabric easier than pencil and I am able to make very small, fine marks. Perfect for 18 count aida. It has an eraser that works just okay, but better than I had expected. The marks rub off pretty easily with just a finger or a little bit of cloth or fabric.Overall I am extremely pleased with this pencil!

I love it. It works as a normal mechanical pencil, only that its chalk, so the lines you can draw are really thin and easily erasable. Highly recommended.
