I bought this to replace an older model rule pump. Hopefully this one lasts as long as the old one did.

An excellent bilge pump that works perfectly. I replaced my old Rule pump with this one only to find out that I had a bad ground wire connection in the boat. The old pump was fine, but I put the new one in and it worked great and snapped into the mount from the old pump. Now I have a spare, though based on the reliability of this pump, I'll probably never need the spare.

Junk. Beware. Bought for the automatic function. Does not turn on automatically. Runs manually Test button doesn’t do anything. Should run after holding button for five seconds. My thirty day return is over by two weeks and didn’t realize it was defective til my boat filled with water. Better check all functions when you install. Don’t trust it.

I hooked it to a battery . Black and brown wire used. And brown with white taped up.When press test button it worked.But when it rained it did not come on.But it would come on when I pressed the test button.So not happy..as boat filled with water.Any ideas about what is wrong???

I've installed dozens of these pumps and they are very reliable. The pump has electronics internally that can sense water and turn on automatically. No moving float switches to hang up and kill your battery!!
