One day pulling out of my driveway the dash in my MK7 GTI lit up like a Christmas tree. Lights on the dash are as follows: ABS, Airbag, Tire Pressure, and Traction Control. Drove the car a few times after the lights came on. Sometimes the car drove normal, other times I could hold the accelerator pedal to the floor and the car would barely move. After searching the forums, I found that the likely culprit was a wheel speed sensor. I used VCDS to read the codes and diagnose further. From the scanner I was able to determine that the rear right wheel sensor was faulty. This Bosch wheel sensor fixed the issue and for half the cost as my local part stores.

wheel sensors are front or rear specific , make sure you buy the right one.
