Until I bought these jigsaw blades, it hadn't accured to me that there were different types of cut which did, or did not leave a jagged edge in the laminate or wood.The type here is thinner (as in not so wide top to botton not thickness) for cutting curves.You can, in fact choose from 3 types (though you'll have to search a bit and make sure you get the correct one). The three types are:1. Leaves a rough cut edge on top and a smooth edge on the botton of the laminate2. Leaves a rough cut edge on the botton and a smooth edge on top3. Leaves a smooth cut top and bottomyou can also get a thicker blade for straight cuts.The picture is of cut wooden flooring (Floated) up against the bottom of the stairs to give you an idea of how neat the cut is. The boards here are less than a metre long to the front door mat Threshold, so there isn't any measurable expansion.
