Productbeschrijving

This impact wrench strikes a good balance between available torque and compact size. From the base of the 1/2” drive to the rear of the tool it’s just 115mm deep. I have another wrench with 3 times the loosening torque but it’s much larger, heavier, cumbersome and overkill for 95% of car work and general tool work.In use this wrench is well balanced, powerful and feels surprisingly good quality for their non-pro range. I used this for a front disc and pad change, the rusted caliper carrier bolts which are notoriously difficult to remove came off without any struggle. The included sockets are good quality with tough plastic outer sleeves to prevent wheel scratching. The bit adapter is useful if you want to drive coach bolts or large Torx head screws etc. This wrench is best used with a 4Ah or larger battery. Due to the better cell performance, the instruction manual quotes a max tightening torque of 350Nm and a max loosening torque of 560Nm (better than mentioned in the listing) when used with a 4Ah battery. The three speed settings are 1200, 1700, & 2300rpm, with the max tightening torque for each setting being 85, 300 & 350Nm. The actual final tightening torque is influenced by the time left impacting and maximum torque is achieved after 6-10secs.Registering this tool gets you a 3 year extended warranty. If you're already invested in the Bosch PBA battery system or any of the “Power For All” alliance brands then this is a worthy choice for a ‘medium duty’ impact wrench.

Gerade an zwei Fahrzeugen getestet. Bin zufrieden.

Der Bosch Akku - Schlagschrauber erfüllt seine Zwecke, z. B. beim Radwechseln TOP. Andere Funktionen wurden noch nicht getestet.

First impressions of this impact wrench are very good. It’s great to get my hands on another Bosch product again. Every tool I’ve had from them so far has been exceptional, and this is no different. The build quality is exactly what I’d expect – clean, compact, with excellent detailing and finishing across all surfaces and components. It’s a weighty item which, personally, I like – rightly or wrongly, it conveys a sense of quality.Regarding the power, you’ve got three levels of control for tightening, though there’s no option to adjust speed or torque when un-tightening.The ergonomics are excellent. It fits the hand well, with the trigger and forward/reverse switch falling naturally under the fingers. So far, I’ve used it with the supplied adapter to convert it into a regular impact driver rather than a wrench. For putting together large wooden structures using hardwoods, this tool makes light work of a job that’s often been a struggle with my regular impact driver. So far, this wrench – used as an impact driver – has proven to be an absolute workhorse. It’s made my current project much easier, and the increase in power compared to my other branded impact driver is definitely noticeable. I’d have no hesitation in recommending this tool if asked.

This is a 1/2" drive impact wrench / driver, and is part of the green Bosch 18v POWER FOR ALL (PFA) tool system. It uses POWER FOR ALL (I'm not shouting, that's how Bosch insist on writing it) batteries. It does NOT use Bosch ProCORE batteries. It also doesn't come with a battery. Guess which batteries I've already got...Fortunately, adapters exist. Not having the right battery for your free tool is not a valid reason to leave a negative review. The listing states very clearly that there is no battery included, so I knew in advance that I'd need an adapter or battery. The majority of my tools and batteries are Einhell, so I decided to buy an Einhell to PFA adapter. It arrived in the same delivery as this impact driver, and it works perfectly - reviewed separately. The tool arrives in a small, card box. It's nicely printed, and more than adequate considering it will go straight in the recycling! The tool itself is very nicely made, using plastics that really reassure you that you are holding something top quality. I've got a couple of blue Bosch ProCORE tools already, and while the batteries are different, I can't detect any difference in quality between green and blue. Team green seems to have a lot more garden tools, and blue is more about drills and saws, with a bit of overlap in the middle. Both are excellent quality. Also in the box is a small selection of bits - three 1/2" drive impact sockets and a 1/2" to hex chuck adapter. I was a bit alarmed when I saw this, as the tool is capable of outputting 350Nm of torque - far too much for screw driving! However, the tool has three torque settings, so you can dial it down to sensible levels for assembling framing or kitchen units. This is made even easier because the tool has a variable speed trigger. Well, sort of. When undoing (anti-clockwise in conventional, lefty-loosey, righty-tighty terms), it tries to go flat-out as soon as you pull the trigger. This makes sense, and most of the time it can't go flat-out, because it's undoing something so there's some resistance. Doing-up, you have a bit more control but it still goes fairly fast, even on the lowest setting. While you probably could use this tool for assembling kitchen units, that's not really it's strong suit, and I'd recommend a smaller, variable speed impact driver for that sort of work. This is more a replacement for an air wrench in an automotive workshop. It's ideal for fitting and removing wheels, dismantling engines and any other repetitive work running nuts and bolts. It really excels at removing stuck nuts and bolts. The 'impact' part of the name refers to a weight inside the tool which rapidly oscillates back and forth if the driving bit isn't rotating. It effectively hammers the nut free - or shears the stud off, so you do need to exercise caution! This is a top-quality tool at an appropriate price. Having owned lots of Bosch tools over the years, I highly rate them. They are robust and excellent value in the long-term. It's a bit annoying that they insist on using two different battery technologies, but adapters exist. If I was starting a new collection from scratch, I'd probably lean towards the ProCORE range. For anyone who already owns PFA tools or batteries, this impact wrench is a fantastic addition to their collection.
