I compared 4 different electric coffee/spice grinders:- Krups F20342,- Amazon basics CG9403-GS,- Rommelbacher EKM-100,- Bosch TSM6A011W.I bought It to grind spices, I didn't test grinding coffee.BuildRommelsbacher has a brushed RVS finish, which looks nice If that's your thing, where the others have a shiny black plastic finish. But not in a really cheap way. They feel sturdy. Up to your preference. I personally prefer black over silver.Using ItThe "turn on" mechanic of the Krups & Bosch are similar and in my testing the best ones. They have a sliding button to press and turn on, where the other 2 had a press the cap mechanic. The AMZ has a hard time to close easily. It has a "press the cap" mechanic to turn on And because of that turning It on can also be a bit annoying. More on that next.IsolationBecause of the press the cap design of the AMZ & Rommelbacher, they both had issues where the cap wasn't always properly sealed cause spices to leak and go in places you don't want them, also a waste. Only for this reason I won't even consider these ones.Internal compartment designAMZ has a very slick compartment without seams, which makes cleaning easier. It's the best one in that regard. The 3 others all have a bit of bent and a seam when the compartment goes from the plastic to the metal.Bosch is otherwise the only unique one because the compartment bottom isn't horizontal, but has a diagonal design. I'm sure that's to help the spices to move around more easily.CapacityEven though the AMZ supposedly has 30 gr vs the others 70/75 gr It wasn't such a big difference in practice. It was just slightly smaller. It had a level marking that was low. So I assume It's not so much the "space" that's the limitation, but probably more to do with the power of the motor If It's loaded up full.GrinderConcept of the grinder are all very similar with the main difference being that all of them have 1 wing up and one wing down, but Bosch has them both down and Krups has them both up.PerformanceThe main criteria, how do they grind. Well, they all did the job, but not all as well. Both the AMZ & Rommelbacher had leakage in the wrong places. The Rommelbacher has the most power, but because of the compartment design, the performance really wasn't there. It only makes It the loudest one. It didn't do It better than the Krups. The AMZ got second place, because of It's smaller compartment, spices grinded quicker, but It also leaks, which is really a no-go. The Bosch is by far the best one. The quickest and finest results. The wings pointing down with the angled floor helped to keep the spices moving around better creating a quicker and finer grind.PouringThe Krups had the easiest pour thanks to Its very oval design. The Bosch and ROMMELSBACHER have some form of an oval shape to help pouring. Only the AMZ was completely round, which made pouring a horrible experience.CleaningThe AMZ has the most smooth compartment design, which makes It very convenient to clean. The Bosch is easy to clean as well because of the angled floor. The others were worse, with the Krups the worst one, because somehow the metal used caused for more stickiness of the spices.PriceAMZ is with €17,50 by far the cheapest.Bosch, is with €25 about 50% more expensive, but worth It. Sometimes on sale for +- €20,-.Rommelbacher, is with €28,50 about 60% more expensive as the AMZ. Not worth It.Krups, wth €29,95 the most expensive and I have no idea why.Ranking & conclusion:1. BoschBest performance, smart internal design, classy looking build. No real negatives.2. KrupsIn terms of general experience It's in 2, but with quite some negatives. Primarily of course because the performance for this price-range is sub-par. Took me twice as long to not even get the same result as the Bosch. RVS surface Is a bit more sticky vs the others, which makes cleaning a bit more work. But pouring was he best with the Krups with Its oval design. Design is overall similar to Bosch.3. AMZPrice is great, this would normally be my no.2 If It didn't have the leaking problem. That really renders It almost useless for Its intended purpose. And pouring with Its round shape Is a challenge. Eveyrthing else is better vs the Krups.4. RommelbacherMost watts, powerrrr. But I didn't really see the results of It. Only more noise. It leaks easily (not as easily as the AMZ though) and at this price level that's just not good enough. It could be the best one for coffee though because of the extra power and loaded with beans I can see that being beneficial. With the courser bean texture It probably won't leak either. But that's all assumptions, I haven't tested It. Being the only one with brushed RVS It could fit your other equipment better.

Quality is good. Some impractical issues. But in overall useful to grind coffee beans to coffee powder. I'm not disappointed.I bought this coffee bean grinder based on its simplicity and small size. The container can hold 75 grams of coffee beans which is good for 6-7 cups. The grinder uses blades to grind the coffee beans to powder which in theory produces less uniform powder than using a burr coffee grinder. But in practice i find the uniformity of the coffee powder quite good. I think this is because the bottom of the container is sloped causing the coffee beans to be grinded in a vortex. The grinder won't work without the lid secured on top. There's no button, but it works by pressing the lid down.Grinding coffee with this device takes some effort and practice. The coarseness of the powder is determined by how long you grind. Therefore you have to experiment on how long you should grind depending on your beans darkness and preference. It's hard to see how coarse the powder is during the grinding. I grind my coffee around 31 seconds for espresso. After grinding it can be messy to get the powder out. After pulling the lid off some powder can spill. So I do this in the sink. Some fine powder can stick at the bottom but can be removed with a spoon.Cleaning is simple just use a damp paper towel to clean the remaining powder. All in all. I'm happy not have to grind by hand anymore.

Goede kwaliteit Bosch koffiemolen uitgevoerd in fraai rood.

For years, I had an older version of the same grinder type. After many years of trusty service, eventually the motor sometimes stopped. Disconnecting power, manually moving the blade a bit and re-connecting power made it work again. Eventually the device failed completely - luckily I had the replacement already delivered when that happened. And I got a very nice surprise!Kudos to Bosch-Siemens, they actually managed to make this grinder much quieter than it was in the past. This is now the first grinder ever where I can continue talking to my wife while using it (yes, for all 10 to 20 seconds it takes to grind a nice fine coffee for my coffee press). And the grinding result is just as good as with the old grinder. Splendid!OK, if I had known it is that good, I should have got this years earlier - but then these devices are long-lasting, the old one just worked withou tproblems for so long, until eventually it sometimes would not start again after stopping it (probably wear of the motor's commuter). So if you have to make a choice for your first grinder: my recommendation is to get this one. You will not be disappointed!

Small but effective. For coffee beans grinding. I use it for American coffee not Turkish one

When I received the product, it is dusty and dirty inside the box. The box is also dirty and old. For a product that is so expensive, this is really bad experienceThanks for your refund
