This thing is very small. You would certainly lose a pinky finger in case of kick-back, as this item is very short and would not protect a whole hand on the screw-on grip. Notice the comparison between the actual in the photo and the images in the product listing. I see some potential creative PhotoShop work there in the listing to make the item look longer than it actually is. I have never been disappointed with Bosch products, which makes me wonder about the authenticity of this item, too.I did not return the item owing to thoughtful reasons and had initially posted a relatively kind two-star or three-star review, but I downgraded this review to one star as my initial review was rejected for reasons unknown and/or illogical.

Why oh why doesn't Bosch supply one of these as standard with its angle grinders? The manual says it's a must to use with wire brushes, and I agree. Apart from being stupidly expensive, it's fine. As other reviewers have said, clearance for your fingers might be an issue if you have large hands and/or very thick gloves.

Esattamente come in figura.E' in robusta lamiera verniciata nera sagomata con nervatura di rinforzo.Sulla mia smerigliatrice Bosch PWS 1000-125 si monta e si smonta con facilità velocemente e dovrebbe essere compatibile con molti altri modelli similari.Offre protezione aggiuntiva a mano e dita anche se si indossano i guanti da lavoro diminuendo le possibilità di infortuni.Da quando l'ho acquistata ormai la monto sempre.La consiglio per tutti quei lavori per i quali non si monta la smerigliatrice su supporti fissi (troncatura, ecc) o per casi in cui serve montare altri accessori o prototezioni che ne impediscano il montaggio.
