You get 3 different pliers in this kit …1 - VDE combination pliers 180mm long with the handle being 45mm (closed) 110mm (open)1 - VDE diagonal cutting pliers 160mm with the handle being about 55mm (closed) 115mm (opened)1 - VDE long nose pliers 200mm, with the handle being about 55mm closed, 125mm (opened)The handles are coated with a tough, yet comfortable coating of thermoplastic polyurethane. What ever that is? Which makes then easy to hold, even for longer periods. They have a raised section at the front, where they join with the metal, which helps stop you hand slipping too far forward whilst working with them.The entire handle seems designed to fit in your hand so comfortable you barely know you’re using them.The claim is they are VDE certified up to 1,000volts, but I’m not going to put that to the test on purpose, I’ll just have to take their word for it and simply be careful when working around electrics.Each unit has a sharp cutting are which does cut thick wire and very thin metal rods with relative ease. The long nose pliers and standard pliers also have an open gripping area and a flat gripping area. The long nose pliers gripping area being several times longer than the standard pliers.These pliers comes in a box, with each one resting in its own cut out section of a hardened foam inner. There is a 4th cut out section which is empty, although I can’t figure out what Bosch tool would go into this, if any. But the presentation of these tools is good enough to give these as a present for someone. They will be well received, although that depends on the person you give it to.In all, these pliers, all three being well made, easy and comfortable to use and look and feel like they should last for a long time. They do what they are designed to do and do it well.And for the price of £65.21 (less than £22.00 per tool) you can’t go wrong as its money well spent.

Kein Vergleich zu einem Seitenschneider. Selbst dicke Adern lassen sich ohne Probleme durchschneiden. Qualität ist top. Ich würde sie wieder kaufen.

+ superbe pince coupe câble+ revêtements poignée de bonne qualité+ très tranchante (je préfère cette pince a un coupe cigare et permet de couper non pas un mais deux doigts!)+ prix intéressant comparé a celles d'autres marques (prix des autres outils vde de cette marque semble également être pour la plus part au bon prix)+ assortiment outils VDE disponible- un peu moins ergonomique que les pinces d'autres marques

Excellent set of pliers and very happy with the purchase. I have owned tools from some of the best brands like Snap On, Knipex, Milwaukee, Tsunoda, Fujiya, KTC, Engineer, Wiha, Wera, Tone, Klein, Facom etc. Even though Bosch Professional VDE series is made in China but these are some really good quality tools. I am happy that amazon could bring these Bosch professional tools to India at a very reasonable price. If you can afford it, go ahead.
