Okay, I bought 2 of these. Changing the weights works 'alright'. It really doesn't work perfectly. Especially not when you're in a workout and thus probably shaking / sweating / heavily breathing. In that case changing the weights won't go as smooth as you'd expect from a dumbell at this price level.The concept is great. But the materials used are insanely weak. It's all plastic. If you want to enjoy these dumbells for a couple of years, you'd better treat them as if they're made from glass. So no bumping, no dropping, and always using great caution when putting them back in the base, or when changing weights.Not what you'd want with dumbells. I seriously don't understand why Bowflex doesn't improve the materials they use. Or actually, I do understand. Bowflex is probably just in it for the quick sales.
