This proved a very fun and interactive birthday gift for my brother in law.He loved it. Went right to work solving puzzle to unlock

I thought by the price and photo that there was a bottle with this, but it's just the cage and a photo of the bottle

Maybe I am really dumb but reading the description I actually thought there was a wee bottle of whiskey in the cage. Nope it's empty and u have to add Ur own whisky.Expensive present

This is a great idea, and my husband was thrilled to get this for Christmas- with his favorite bottle of whiskey inside. He loves escape rooms and puzzle boxes so he was so excited to get started. That quickly turned into frustration, however, because as I had the answer key and was following along we quickly realized that several of the answers are flat out wrong. Not even subjectively- just like completely wrong. That throws off the calculations and if I didn’t just tell him the “answer” for those questions, he would have been forced to retrieve his whiskey using bolt cutters. Overall, very disappointed that I paid this much money for a cage and lock, since the puzzle aspect was worthless.

Gave this to my dad with a nice bottle of whiskey and we had a great time figuring out the answers. Like other reviewers mentioned the lock isn't very sturdy, but if you're only using it once for a present it's fine -- unless you have someone who wants to cheat and break the lock, I guess.
