Sound quality is better than the other cheaper lavalier options out there, though not proportional in the price difference. But if you can afford the 4x price difference, then get this. I also wish it came with the fluffy mic covers too rather than just the foam covers.

Review for the LIGHTNING version of this wireless microphone system. I am a singer and instrumentalist and have been using and evaluating microphones for years. I am very pleasantly surprised at the quality of these BOYA wireless mics for recording speech. The small lavalier microphones have good pickup and a pretty good frequency range.BUILD/UNBOXING: The package insert instructions were almost useless, so I experimented. When I plugged the receiver into a lightning port on my husband's phone, it received power immediately. The 2 microphones need to be charged first; the first one took 20 minutes, the other mic only took 8 minutes to fully charge out of the box. Included in the package are 2 USB-A to USB-C cables for charging the microphones, as well as one receiver and 2 microphones. On each microphone, there's an on/off switch that lights up blue when it pairs with the receiver and flashes alternating blue and red when searching for the receiver. Long-press to turn off the microphone. Each mic has a noise reduction button, and I was pleasantly surprised to find that the noise reduction button also acts as a remote start button for video recordings. The built-in windscreens do block the pop of plosives, however, the fricatives bleed through with a very slight distortion. The sound quality did not change significantly if I held the mic or if I attached it to my shirt at the neckline.SPEECH vs SINGING: I (female) tried recording several videos of me singing in different ranges, but they were all a bit distorted. I'm very happy with the sound quality for speech, but not for singing.BOTTOM LINE: These are a great value for recording reels, shorts, and podcasts. Easy to figure out and use. A good value. 本格的な動画ではなく子供の日常等を撮影するのに使っています。iPhoneに挿せばすぐに使えるので、使いたい時にさっと使えるのがありがたいです。距離が50mとのことですが、私の使用範囲では不安定になることもなく安定して使えているので十分だと思います。ライトニング端子なので、最新のiPhondを含むAndroidでは使えませんので、スマホの買い替えとともに使えなくなってしまうのは残念です。
