J'ai reçue cette bobine à l'instant. Déjà une chose, l'emballage trop petit, quasi ouvert, la bobine a un crochet un peu abimé certainement dut de ce fait. Bref pas contente!Ensuite, la taille, grosse blague! Pas du tout une bobine géante. Les dimensions concernent l'emballage plastique pas l'objet. La bobine fait en réalité: 13cm de hauteur; en diamètre - 3,5cm pour les crochets du haut, 7,5 pour ceux du bas. Le crochet en métal et plastique, fait 12cm, l'aiguille en plastique 7,5cm.Je ne l'ai pas essayé, donc je dirai juste que je suis déçue de la taille réelle de la bobine, je pensais recevoir une bobine de 20,5 x 14,5 x 6 cm.Il serait du bon sens de donné aux acheteurs les dimensions du produit, et non pas de son emballage. Question d'honnêteté.Mon commentaire a pour but donc, d'aviser les futurs acheteurs...

This is a well-designed tool for spool knitting. The grooves on the pins allow you to latch onto the loop of yarn and pull it over each pin. The knob at the top of the pins prevents the remaining loop from accidentally being pulled over the top. The feel is good for an adult hand, and other reviewers say it works fine for kids too. It seems a little large to me for a child younger than 10 or so, but perhaps that's not so. In any case, it's light and easy to turn as you knit. I think it's the best of the various spool knitting devices I've seen.My photo shows the 2 headbands I made from worsted yarn. They are similar to I-cord, which I have crocheted before, but I think this method is easier and quicker. Some reviewers say that the resulting cord is loose, but I think that may be because the 2 ends were not pulled tight after each stitch or two. As long as one pulls on both ends after stitches, the result will be even and snug. I was working on the small end, and I tried the large end with worsted yarn but wasn't satisfied. I think that bulky yarn is really needed for the larger end.The directions were not very good (need more photos), but there are lots of directions online that make it easy to begin. There was a sharp edge at the base of the hook tool, but that was easily fixed with a nail file. All in all, a good tool that has many useful applications.

This is a sturdy and easy to use product that can be used to make either thick or thin “French knitting” cords. There are grooves to guide the tool, and notches near the top of each prong to stop the loops coming off accidentally. My 8 year old son has spent a lot of time using this and says he would rate it 6 out of 5 if he could! I also enjoy using it myself and find it quite relaxing and mindful.I also like that it comes in plain purple as many similar items have cartoon characters on them which make them appear to be aimed at children, whereas this activity is suitable for all
