Questa recensione la faccio dopo due anni dall'acquisto. Un accetta ben fatta e di ottima fattura. Il legno fino ad ora non ha subito alcun deterioramento e la lama, ben fissata al manico, è ancora ben affilata. Sono due anni che intensamente la uso per spaccare legna e sono estremamente soddisfatto, soprattutto per il costo contenuto. Consiglio sicuramente l'acquisto

Für gröbere Klötze braucht's gröberes Werkzeug. Allerdings tut ich mich mit einer 80" Spaltaxt doch recht schwer, wenn es ums Spalten von Anfeuerholz geht ... da kommt die kleine Mannesmann wie gerufen. Richtiges Gewicht, gutes Handling, fairer Preis. Für einen Hobbyheizer genau das richtige, Profis greifen vermutlich eher zu Gränsfors oder Fiskars.

Good quality tool at a very reasonable price! Bought this for chopping kindling, and is ideal for this. Nice and sharp and will split small logs easily! Good weight and size to use comfortably.

For the price, its quite a nice hatchet and more than capable at splitting logs for kindling. Its got quite a bit of weight to it but i find its very well balanced so splits just fine. The handle isn't too nice though, cheap glossy finish but it looks solid enough.As for the head and the edge, it comes slightly sharp. Definitely needs quite a lot of work but even then, it won't become razor sharp. My favourite thing about the head is its shape, not sure that the photo of the hatchet shows this off well but instead of a standard symmetrical axe head, this overhangs at the bottom and is very wide. I found that because of its shape, its moderate sharpness and weight that it can cut into logs very deep which is exactly what you want.Ive been using it for a few months now alongside a £20 Husqvarna hatchet and although this doesn't compare in the slightest to the hand forged Husqvarna for quality, its still useful because of its extra weight, power and durability.Overall, if £10 or so is your budget then this is perfect. For an extra £8-£10, you can get much better but saying that, if you have little experience in this stuff, then play it safe and buy this as you can be assured that you're getting value for the price.
