Eindelijk een kleine afvalbak die op een goede hoogte in het keukenkastje past. Er blijft nog voldoende ruimte in de kast over. De afvalbak kan prima met 20 liter zakken.

Der Eimer ist sehr stabil, sieht gut aus und läßt sich sehr einfach in der Schranktüre montieren, Größe und Form sind auch perfekt. Mein vorheriger Eimer nahm aufgrund seiner runden Form zuviel Platz im Schrank weg; dieser ist deutlich ökonomischer und, da leichter, hängt auch nicht soviel Gewicht an den Türscharnieren. Der Eimer ist problemlos zu entnehmen und einzusetzen. 10l sind durchaus ausreichend, da ich meinen Müll nach ca. 3 Tagen ausleere, bevor der Geruch zu deutlich wird und der Schimmel auf dem Obst überhand nimmt. Dass sich der Deckel mit dem Öffnen der Schranktüre nicht mitöffnet ist für mich kein großes Manko, störender finde ich dass der Deckel sich nicht geöffnet arretieren lässt! Dem habe ich abgeholfen indem ich an der Schranktüre eine kleine Metallscheibe und am Eimerdeckel einen Minimagnet festgeklebt habe. Nun kann ich bequem mit beiden Händen hantieren und dann den Deckel wieder schließen, der übrigens die Geruchsbelästigung erstaunlich gut minimiert!Wie schon vorher erwähnt werden statt 40 nur 20 Müllbeutel mitgeliefert.Ist sein Geld wert - Kaufempfehlung!!

We moved house a few months back now and needed to buy some new furniture and other odds and ends. One of the first essential things we needed to get was a new bin, our old kitchen was massive and unfortunately our new kitchen is ridiculously tiny. In fact it is so small that there isn't even any available floor space for a free standing bin, so I set out to find a built in bin which could be fitted under the kitchen sink, i ended up choosing this 10 Litre built in black bin from Brabantia.Clearly the company stand by their products as the Brabantia bin I bought came with a ten year guarantee.On opening up the box I was immediatly impressed with my purchase. It came with instructions stating that the bin was extremely easy to install along with all the relevant screws. Admittedly I am not too good at DIY (infact I don't even know where the screwdriver is kept, shame on me!), so I left the installation for my partner. It took him less than ten minutes to fit the bin to the inside of the cupboard door under the kitchen sink, he said it was very easy, fuss free and not as annoying as he had anticipated. Those with thin cupboard doors may want to be cautious that none of the screws go all the way through the door as this would be a bit of a nightmare. For those with thin cupboard doors it may be a good idea to screw another peice of wood to the back of the door and then install the bin, or perhaps purchase some smaller screws. Luckily this was not a problem for us and the bin was installed with no problems. Since the bracket has been installed it has remained sturdy and in place.The bin is easy attached / detatched from the bracket by simply clicking it in or out of place. Being able to remove the bin from the bracket is brilliant as I can take it out into the garden to clean it on a regular basis. It is made out of plastic and is amazing easily to clean, I just wash it with some bleach and hot water every other week. There is a lift up lid attached to the bracket. The lid is easy to open, it rests on the back of the kitchen cupboard when opened and stays there without slamming shut. One little added feature about the lid is that it has a small ridge at the front, not only does this make lifting the lid ever so easy but it also prevents fingers coming into contact with any mess or germs that may be lurking on the underside of the lid. We have never experience any problems with the bin falling or slipping once positioned correctly in the bracket.I do avoid over filling the bin or putting anything too heavy in it, I don't find this much of a problem and I have simply gotten into the habit of putting anything heavy straight into our wheely bin outside.Keep in mind that this is a 10 litre bin, so it is pretty small. We are a family of four and I need to empty this bin 1-2 times a day. I do find this to be annoying but I put this down to having a small kitchen rather than anything to do with the actual bin, afterall I bought it because I didn't have the space in my kitchen for anything bigger. I try to see the positive side of having to empty the bin quite often anyways, I feel it's more hygenic and prevents nasty smells developing, so that has got to be a plus!

Great, compact, sturdy trash bin for a fantastic price. I bought it to go inside my lower kitchen cabinet doors, but I couldn't close the door once it was installed. (The bin was narrower than the door, but I have a center bar between the cupboard doors, and it caught on that.) I wound up installing it on the side of a cupboard. That puts it at nearly waist height, so it's super convenient. And it's a small, tidy-looking thing, so it looks just fine. It was a piece of cake to install, and although it's very easy to get the basket on and off the support piece, it stays nicely in place otherwise. Also, I thought it might take forever to get it, since it shipped from England, but it arrived even earlier than the estimated date -- I think it only took a week or so to arrive. I'm very happy with the purchase.

Well made. Sturdy. Easy to install. Simple attachment mechanism with no moving parts. Lid closes snugly. Pricey but it feels like it should last. Brabantia is a reliable brand. We have been using a chrome pedal bin of theirs for 20 years and it still works perfectly.
