The first thing I noticed was the general roominess ( I’m xx) and thin material which is ok for hot weather, some other vests are too thick for those occasional hot days we get up here in NE England. Don’t know how it washes yet but the print is solid and all the stitching is of good standard. I can see myself getting a few years out of it, it’s a fun pattern, not quite real flecktarn but a nice take on it in that it has five shades but uses a grey instead of mid green and is not all dappled, with some patches of colour and a few dapples here and there but it goes ok with it if you’re not a purist. ( sorry people I have a camouflage addiction but I’m working on it) . So to recap, hot days only and keep a jumper handy, roomy fit however I expect it will shrink in wash a little. Well made. I’m happy with it for the price and am actually lounging around in it writing this. It’s long enough to make a short dress/ nightie for a girl so watch your lass with it or it will be pinched and she’ll adopt it. Comfortable and I like it.
