I spent quite a while deciding which impact driver to purchase so to help anyone else struggling to decide I have written a lengthy review.I wanted one mainly for removing wheel nuts on my cars and similar home garage jobs. I had finally decided on a 1000Nm spec as most of the mid range 600 – 700Nm reviews often commented that they were not powerful enough to remove wheel nuts but I couldn't really justify the minimum £140 for one. I saw the Bravolu 700Nm impact wrench on offer, it had mostly excellent reviews and so thought I would give it a try as I could always return it if it was not suitable.So far I am very impressed, it removes wheel nuts torqued to 140Nm so fast I think I haven't seated the socket on the nut and the auto stop works well. So far it hasn't struggled on anything I have tried it with.The wrench came in a plastic case which all the tools, battery etc. fits in nicely. As said in another review, you have to remove the battery from the wrench to fit it in the case but this is advisable anyway. The charger supplied, plugs into the battery and is a UK spec 1A 21V so is not particularly fast and would take 4 hours for a totally flat battery but I am usually in no hurry to charge and the single 4Ah battery lasts me long enough for a full day in the garage. Faster chargers are readably available as are the Makita style battery.The wrench is slightly smaller than I thought it would be and well built and sturdy. It has three forward speeds and one speed for removal. If you use the wrench to put on a wheel nut (not recommended though, especially with alloy wheels) at low speeds it reaches about 100Nm if you stop it before it 'rattles' too much, allowing me to finish off correctly with a torque wrench.It does not come with a hex adaptor for screwdrivers but having tried one I do not think it is suitable for screws as the wrench has too much power and the minimum speed it runs at is still too fast for driving screws in and the bit just spins out of the screw head, but works fine for coach screws.Overall I am pleased with my purchase and think, for me, any higher torque would have been a waste.
