I make all my own ice cream, Freeze dried fruit is perfect to add for texture and flavour. It absorbs just enough moisture from the ice cream to reconstitute but does not freeze solid to ice, as fresh fruit does. I add about 20 grams to a litre of ice cream, just before the end of churning, so this size packet goes a long way. Yummy!

The taste and texture are almost identical to what I remember from my childhood.
