Brooks dames Glycerin 22Sneaker

My daily runner in the off season is the Brooks Ghost shoe, but I've begun alternating them with the Glycerin when I'm training for long distance races as the extra padding is kinder to my over-40 knees and feet. I last had a pair of the Glycerin 20s which I loved but thought I'd give the newer 22s a try. Besides the usual adjustment to a way squishier shoe, they are great so far ~25 miles in. No breaking-in was needed, and they are SO comfortable. The upper feels a little less breathable to me than the Ghost. I ordered my usual size 9 and they fit great (in casual shoes I'm an 8.5 but always need to size up in Brooks for sufficient toe room). I was expecting a tradeoff in speed for comfort which I could feel the first couple runs but I've since adapted and don't feel like they're slowing me down much if at all. These would be excellent shoes for anyone who's on their feet all day.

These shoes are the most comfortable for my aging feet and legs. I wear them all day and night with no problems. They are very cushy and lightweight.
